RE-lectrify Ocean Grove Industrial Estate

November 9, 2023

100% Clean Bellarine is proud to announce our latest project, RE-lectrify Ocean Grove Industrial Estate.

The Ocean Grove Industrial Estate

Commencing in November 2023, 100% Clean Bellarine will be offering business owners throughout Ocean Grove free energy assessments.

Through this project, we aim to:

  • Assist local businesses to reduce their operating costs.
  • Better understand the barriers local small businesses face to using ‘green power’
  • Estimate the carbon emissions generated by the Ocean Grove Industrial Estate so that we can understand how to reduce these
  • Contribute to the sustainability of our thriving local economy.

We know that the price of gas is skyrocketing. The cost of energy has also increased by around 25%. This hurts small businesses a lot. 100% Clean Bellarine has successfully received a grant from the City of Greater Geelong’s Climate Change Partnerships program to work with small businesses to simplify the electrification of commercial buildings.

This pilot will focus on the Ocean Grove Industrial Estate. We will work with small businesses on how they could save on energy bills by helping them evaluate options, engage suppliers, and install or upgrade equipment if desired.  This could include rooftop solar, replacement of gas hot water, heating and cooling systems and other specialised equipment.

100% Clean Bellarine invites businesses and property owners in the Ocean Grove Industrial Estate to explore their potential to electrify their businesses and lower costs.
